Caleb had his 2-year well check the other day at our pediatrician. This kid grew four inches in the last six months and went from the 45th height percentile to the 85th. No wonder he’s quickly closing in on Liam’s shoe size and going through clothes like crazy. Some clothes have only gotten one or two wears before they get thrown into the outgrown pile. Liam’s always been super short, so having a tall kiddo is new territory for us.
These are our favorite shoes for growing littles.
Porsha from over at Linc and Cole recently gifted Caleb a set of clothes and we are in love with them. Linc and Cole is a brand that prioritizes comfort and durability without sacrificing style. The clothes are simple in the best of ways and sport a couple really unique features that will make these pieces last longer than anything else in your kid’s closet.
First impressions matter. I mean, I’m totally fine with brands shipping things in polymailers (which happens a lot), but shops who go the extra mile to include super cute packaging or extra goodies definitely stand out. Linc and Cole’s packaging is one of my favorites we’ve received in a long time. Check out this adorable box for starters:
The artwork inside the box is perfect for coloring and – oh look – Linc and Cole also included a crayon from Color Us Three.
There are a few things I want to note about the clothes themselves. We received a hoodie and a pair of jogger pants. Style wise, they’re incredibly adorable. Caleb looks like a little man and it’s just the cutest thing ever.
Linc and Cole’s pieces come in a variety of sizes. It’s so easy to mix and match, or pair a hoodie with a pair of jeans or the joggers with a favorite tee. The soft eco-friendly fabrics hold their shape really well and are the perfect wardrobe choice for chilly spring mornings.
My favorite thing about these clothes is the grow-with-me sizing. They only come in three different sizes. I know – that seems too good to be true, right? You can purchase the clothes in 3-12 months, 1-3T and 3T-6 years. What makes them usable for the entirety of those size ranges are foldable cuffs. I thought for sure that the body of the pieces would still be too big, but they really seem to fit nicely. Caleb has worn the clothes with the cuffs both folded and unfolded. Unfolded is fine if you don’t mind a lot of slouch (like in the photo above), because the cuffs help keep the pants and sleeves from going over feet and hands. I think I prefer folded, just for looks, but that’s totally a personal preference. We didn’t pick up a romper this time, but rumor has it that these also include hidden drawstrings so you can adjust sizing as needed.
Not advertised is the sleepy dust I’m sure was included in our package:
Our hoodie and joggers have been perfect for early spring, but obviously these pieces will get less use as it gets warmer. But the nice thing is that I know that they’ll still fit once fall rolls around. If you’re looking for something to wear over the summer, Linc and Cole has short sleeve and sleeveless options available, plus tops and bottoms made with a more lightweight fabric.
You can shop Caleb’s look on Linc and Cole’s website and give them a follow on IG and Facebook.
