On the way to swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School the other day, Liam was telling me how much he hoped to be able to move up to the next level. This is something he’s been working hard for, but I wasn’t sure how close he was. Turns out – he was right! Liam was beaming from ear to ear when he handed me his ribbon and we are SO proud of his hard work!

Leaving the Glider 2 level at Goldfish means that Liam has mastered things like:
- Flutterkick on his stomach for one pool width
- Freestyle swim with breaths for one pool width
- Glide on his back for 10 feet
- Tread water for 30 seconds
Moving to a new swim level also means giving Liam some new goals to work towards. The only downside to moving up is that we can’t take our favorite swim instructor with us. Goldfish has lots of great ones, though, so we’re excited to work with someone new.
