My sizing recommendation: order your regular size for a loose/oversized fit, size down for a more fitted look. I’m wearing an XL and I still have plenty of room for the bump. Definitely could have gotten away with sizing down to a L for both the top and bottoms, even being super pregnant. Hannah’s wearing their 4-5 size and I’d also say that they run a little bit large, especially the pants.

All jokes aside, I’m so thankful to have fairly easy pregnancies (aside from heightened stress + anxiety) and physically usually feel great all the way through. But also, breathing is hard. No, I’m not sleeping well. And my tolerance for excess noise and kid chaos is at an all time low 😬

Baby girl officially has a place to sleep and isn’t it the cutest? @harppababy gifted us their 3-in-1 bedside bassinet. It can be used as a stand alone bassinet, attach to the bed as a bedside sleeper, or be used as a baby cradle. Not totally sure which version we’ll use the most - we’ll likely end up using a combination of all three. I love the idea of being able to move the bassinet around the house and into the bathroom when I take a shower, but if I end up nursing,I think the bedside sleeper will definitely come in handy. It has 5 height adjustments so I can get a perfect fit to our bed height.

Doing some freezer meal prepping for after baby! I’m doing a combination of some meals for our family and some pre-portioned options for myself on days it’s just me and baby. I have a hard enough time figuring out what to make/eat now before we even throw a new baby in the mix. Any tips from moms of 4+ for how to slow down while keeping life normal for the big kids are totally welcome!

This cheeseburger soup freezes so well and is absolutely delicious. My kids have never been big fans of soup in general and they all gobbled this up. I need to make another batch because I expected to have more to freeze from this recipe.

Brown 1lb ground beef. Add in 1.5c chopped celery (about 6 stalks), 1.5c chopped carrots (about 4),
1 large onion (diced), 1 Tbsp basil and a heaping spoonful of minced garlic (about 4-5 cloves fresh). Cook until tender. Add in 1/4c flour, salt and pepper (to taste). Stir and cook for another minute or so. Add in 6c chicken broth and 6c diced potatoes. Simmer until the potatoes are tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in 1.5c heavy cream and 2c shredded cheddar cheese. Simmer for a few minutes until the soup thickens a little. Enjoy immediately or cool and portion into containers for the freezer (I froze in about 2-serving portions)

You can definitely add sour cream or bacon to your soup when cooking or before serving, but this soup is absolutely delicious without them too!

A little peek at our kitchen backsplash! We have one more wall to caulk (our timeline was slightly derailed by our water leak, but thankfully the tile escaped unscathed) and then we can happily say this project is finished. It took me almost two years to choose a tile for our backsplash, because one, I have a hard time with commitment, and two, nothing ever felt right AND within our budget. I came across an example photo of this tile on @loweshomeimprovement’s website and I was instantly sold. So much so, that we dedicated trips to three different Lowe’s in our area to obtain enough tile to make it happen. What do you think about how it turned out?
